Public + spokenAugust 23, 2026, public Facebook: Amazing progress this week at new job. I am back with WVU Medicine at a site near the Lake. In effect September first. So happy I am alive still and already got my final wish. Now new ideas, family-oriented, the way her late father Elliott Thomas Ridenour Jr would want.
Fort Ashby. Frankfort High School, 1995. Cherokee, Shawnee, Blackfoot — three Native bloodlines, she has written, with German on the other side of the tree. The land willed by her father is, in her telling, a confirmed site of the French and Indian War. Home is not a metaphor. The zomes are what she intends to raise on it.
Scott Meade. Raylynn Violet — Ray — nursing and human services. A mother recovering from a third stroke, brought home. A brother. Scott's father, who after Illinois said he only feels safe with them. She would not abandon them. The travel scientist came back for the living.
She tells this Imaginarium she made it safely home from Illinois from help from the other side. That sentence is enough. The next wing keeps the chair empty on purpose.
